Since claiming the bronze medal at the Asian Youth Boxing Championship in Thailand in 2017, Naveen Boora was always touted to be one of the best upcoming talents. The Services boxer finally came into his own last year when he dazzled on his way to a glittering 69kg gold medal at the Elite Men’s Nationals. Boora’s ring craft and hard punches left everybody trailing in his wake and he took that confidence into the Big Bout League as well where he made quite an impression by knocking out the likes of former Commonwealth Games gold medallist Manoj Kumar.
