The Training Camp at Sheffield, UK from 16th to 29th July, 2018.
The BFI arranged for a high-level training camp for the elite Indian men’s and women pugilists that helped the boxers to increase their confidence level as they set their sights on winning gold at the-then upcoming Asian Games. Amit Panghal led the batch of 9 Indian men’s boxers while Sarita Devi spearheaded a team of 12 women boxers who were sent to Sheffield in UK for a two-week camp which was also their last international training camp before the mega continental event.
