Lovlina Borgohain (69kg) bagged her first international gold of the season while Neeraj (57kg) too added the gold as Indian boxers ended their campaign with a rich haul of 6 medals at the Magomed Salam Umakhanov Memorial International Boxing Tournament in Kaspiysk, Russia which remains an important event on the boxing calendar.

Lovlina had earlier shone in the year with a silver at the India Open and a bronze from the Strandja Cup but it was at this tournament that she managed to end her gold drought.

Gaurav Solanki (56kg) finished with a silver while Pooja Rani (75kg), Govind Kumar Sahani (49kg) and Jony (60kg) won the bronze.
