Election took place in the presence of AIBA and IOA observers

The high-profile BFI elections took place under the watchful eyes of the observers from International Boxing Association (AIBA) and Indian Olympic Association (IOA). AIBA observer Mr Yury Zaytsev flew down from Russia to oversee the proceedings of the elections of the national federation. He was accompanied by the IOA representative Mr Rakesh Gupta, who also happens to be a senior sports administrator.
