Resident of Agra, 25-year-old Brijesh Yadav has been an experienced campaigner in the professional circuit. This orthodox styled boxer was among the top 12 elite pugilists to attempt a berth in Rio Olympics through the pro boxing circuit.

Eventually, Yadav was picked for the Indian Tigers team keeping his vast experience, endurance and strong technique in display. He played the first match against one of the most reputed Kazakhstan boxers, Nurdaulet Zharmanov. Though he lost the bout 2:1, his hard fight and sheer aggression didn’t go unnoticed.

Now, the Rajasthan boxer is confident of greater achievements and is one of the country’s most promising prospects, who could flourish in the near future.
