ANKUSH DAHIYA
ANKUSH DAHIYA (64KG)
With a height advantage, the lanky Ankush Dahiya effectively uses his long reach to land blows on his opponent inside the ring. The 22-year-old Dahiya mastered this technique well that helped him shine at both the youth and the senior level.
The 64kg RSPB boxer made his first breakthrough when he took the silver at the Asian Youth Championships in 2016. The very next year he made a smooth transition into the senior level to grab a gold at the Ulaanbaatar Cup. In 2019 he maintained good form to take a couple of bronze medals at the India Open and the Elite Men’s Nationals.
