Steadily climbing up the ranks has been the young Ankit – a 64kg boxer representing the Services. His deft skills inside the ring and his ability to read the opponents’ mind rewarded him with bronze medals from the Asian and World Youth Boxing Championships. But it was at the Youth Nationals that he managed to hold his own and outshine everybody else to take the gold in 2018. In 2019, he progressed a step further to get the silver medal at the Elite Men’s Nationals and looks primed for more success in the future.

- 2017: ASBC Youth Asian Boxing Championship, Thailand – Bronze
