Preeti (60kg)

Her first inspiration to play boxing came from her maternal uncle and his fiancé. She always wanted to pursue an individual game and she immediately took on their suggestion. The Haryana girl started training relentlessly and the results soon started showing when she got bronze at School Games. Her dedication to her craft yielded success at the national level as well. The determined Preeti carried on her sterling form at Junior Asian Championships next where she bagged the gold medal. It has given her hunger and belief to keep soaring with her ultimate aim being an Olympic medal.
