Bina Devi has already grabbed attention since her debut two years back in 2016. She has shown tremendous development and has evolved into a boxer of international repute. Heralded for her speed, the lightweight boxer’s precision and accuracy is what makes her a lethal opponent in ring.

Boxing happened to her by chance, but Bina Devi’s hidden prowess in the sport did not go unnoticed. It was her friend’s brother who inspired her further and she joined the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in Guwahati in 2011.

The Manipuri is currently a regular in the national camp and has claimed the gold at the 2016 Nation’s Cup in Serbia. Bina Devi recently won gold at the Strandja Cup in Bulgaria. Now her goal is to prepare for the World Women’s Boxing Championship and the upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2020.
