Boxing Federation of India

Boxing Federation of India (BFI) is the apex governing body of Boxing in India. Being a member of the International Boxing Federation, the body is responsible to promote and develop the game in the country. Nationally, Boxing Federation of India (BFI) has the affiliation of 37 state associations/boards. As one of the most active federations in the country, BFI on behalf of India has represented it in all the major international boxing championships like Olympics, World, Commonwealth, Asian etc.

Based in Gurgaon in the national capital territory (NCR), the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) is presided by Mr. Ajay Singh (President) while Mr. Hemanta Kumar Kalita is the Secretary General. India has an immense pool of sporting talent especially when it comes to boxing. Our boxers have made the country proud on numerous occasions in the past. However, going forward it is pertinent that the right exposure is provided to them in order to help them reach the pinnacle of their performance. The objective of the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) is to provide the right platform to such talent which can in turn help India become a force to reckon with at a global stage in the sports of boxing.
