Indian youth boxers clinches 19 medals in Serbia
In a successful campaign at the 40th Golden Glove of Vojvodina Youth Boxing Tournament in Serbia, Indian youth boxers bagged 19 medals, including 10 gold. The tournament, held from September 12 to 19, saw Bhawna Sharma (48 kg), Devika Ghorpade (52 kg), Kunjarani Devi (60 kg), Ravina (63 kg) and Kirti (+81 kg) finishing on top of the podium in the women’s section while, Vishwanath (48 kg), Ashish (54 kg), Sahil (71 kg), Jadumani (51 kg) and Bharat Joon (92 kg) secured gold medals in the men’s category.
