Four-time Asian medallist Shiva Thapa scripted history to become India’s first gold medallist at the President’s Cup boxing tournament in Astana, Kazakhstan after making his international debut in the newly-introduced Olympic category of 63kg.
India also got a silver through Parveen (60kg) besides a couple of bronze medals through Saweety Boora (81kg) and Duryodhan Singh Negi (69kg).
