In a scintillating show by India’s elite women’s boxers, Simranjit Kaur (64kg), Monika (48kg) and Bhagyabati Kachari (81kg) claimed gold medals as India took 7 medals at Ahmet Comert Tournament in Istanbul, Turkey. While Pinki Rani (51kg) and Meena Kumari had to be satisfied with a silver each, Sonia (57kg) and Kavita Chahal (+81kg) took bronze.
