Ahead of the Women’s World Boxing Championship at home, MC Mary Kom underlined her strong form with a gold medal at the 13th International Silesian Women’s Boxing Championships in Gliwice, Poland as India collected 6 medals. The fact that the Manipuri legend showed no signs of any rustiness after an injury break made her victory even more laudable.

From the others, Manisha (54kg) settled for a silver while Sarita Devi (60kg), Ritu Grewal (51kg), Lovlina Borgohain (69kg) and Pooja Rani (81kg) all took bronze.
