Maintaining his dominance not only in results but also in ranking charts, Amit Panghal continues to lead the pack with a No. 1 position in 52kg in the latest AIBA World Rankings. The fearlessness and confidence that he has displayed in the past couple of years against some of the best opposition earned him a gold from the Asian Games and the Asian Championships with an unprecedented silver medal from the World Championships being the cherry on the cake.

Manish Kaushik’s exploits at the world event, which saw him bag a bronze on his debut, were rewarded with a rise to No. 6 position in 64kg. Asian Championships silver medallists Kavinder Singh Bisht (56kg) and Deepak (49kg) were fourth and sixth respectively.
