Akash Ramesh Gorkha

One of the rising men’s pugilists to keep track of is Akash Ramesh Gorkha who has shown a lot of promise at the junior and youth level. He grabbed the Junior Nationals silver in 2017 and made an impression at the Youth Nationals two years later with a bronze, besides underlining his talent at Khelo India Games as well.

Akash’s biggest achievement so far has been winning the gold at the 15th international Danas Pozniakas youth boxing tournament this year. If anything, it indicates the youngster’s sincerity and willingness to improve – essential requisites for elite level glory.
